Too long

It's been too long since I've blogged.
It's been too long since I've worked out.
It's been too long...
...since I practiced guitar
...since I wrote anything for myself
...since I called a friend out of the blue.
...since I tried to improve myself in general.

I have neglected a lot lately. I'm not sure I'll do any of these things, or the others that I've let slip, as a regular habit. I want to, but I can't be sure. I went for a run today. I'm blogging now. There's just so much to do.

I Want to Write

I want to write, but I keep getting ideas that are only half-ready as I'm about to start. So now I've got a few dozen half-ideas in my head, all vying for attention, and no clue where to start.

Ok, not NO clue. I'm starting by writing this and hoping it gets the ball rolling.

On a totally separate note, this iPhone app is none too shabby for blogging, if one couldn't get to a computer. Still not as good as my laptop, though.

Return to Blogging

So... apparently, I have a Blog again, now. I deleted my Xanga after a long time of inconsistent posts, but I doubt that will happen here. The combination of a good friend being disappointed by my lack of blog and my realization that I can link blogspot directly to my Google account have inspired me to start again (All hail my Google Overlords!)

Anyway, since I'm new here, I should introduce myself. At present, I am between my Junior and Senior years of college. All attempts at finding a summer job have failed to pay off thus far, which is particularly disappointing because I'm hoping to move to Los Angeles in either January or May of next year (depending on some questions of schooling). I am an aspiring--though not particularly prolific--writer, and an avid reader. I confess with pride that I am a comic book nerd, most recently my focus being Superman (Green Lantern was my hero-of-choice for years).

Now that that's all in order, I'll take my leave until something interesting strikes me.
